The Beginning
Established early 2008, Zen Cat's was created from a love for body modification and a distinct lack of large-gauge body jewellery available in the U.K, especially using organic materials. We aimed to change this, and now offer quality products to the public at affordable prices so you don't have to wait for your favourite conventions to come around when you need some new plugs, though you can find us at UK-based meets.
The shop is evolving to offer some new clothing items and other goodies over the next few months, so check back to see what's new next time!
Jewellery
We only deal in organics as we believe they are the best for your piercings and body. Our jewellery is from all over the world, coming from only ethical suppliers. We will be soon making custom projects for plugs and tunnels, and offering a laser-engraved finish for plugs 1"+. The benefits of organics is obvious, but if you haven't tried wearing any, believe us, you should!
We specialise in large gauge (1"+) plugs and tunnels for stretched piercings, and we also stock a wide range of hooks, claws, spikes, twists and talons for smaller piercings too.
The jewellery is individually hand-made to the best possible standards, and pairs are matched as closely as possible. The wood used is rescued from demolition sites, while the bone and horn is from Water Buffalo which have died of natural causes.
The tropical hardwoods are polished to a beautiful shine using natural beeswax, and has been thoroughly tested to minimise any allergic reaction.
About Me
I had an immediate interest in body modification when I first laid eyes on a National Geographic magazine many years ago. The last 7 years of tattooing, modification and the completion of a Bsc. in Human Biosciences have led me to found and run this business full-time. And I love it.
